Gambians in Karate to receive 4th DAN

Three Senegalese officials from Senegal's Karate Federation will conduct an award ceremony on Sunday June 13th 2010 at the Baobab Hotel, making the first time for Gambians in Karate to attain 4th DAN in the art, according to the Gambia Karate Federation.

Momodou Jobe, Technical Director and JKA representative for West Africa, Lamin Ceesay, Treasurer, Zone II Secretary General and Chairperson of the Zone II Referee Committee and Lamin Gaye, Chairman of the organizing committee will arrive from Senegal for the event.
