FIFA to pay up over 10 Billion

The 32 nations who made it to South Africa will share a monster jackpot of more that 250 million pounds equivalent to D10, 752, 500, 000 (Ten Billion, Seven Hundred and Fifty Two Million, Five Hundred Thousand Dalasis) at this summers world cup in South Africa.

FIFA last December approved a stonking increase in prize money from Germany 2006- with total prize money up from 158 million pounds equivalent to (Forty Two Million, Five Hundred Thousand Dalasis) to 253 million pounds.

If England lift the world Cup on July 11, the FA will scoop the top prize of 18 million pounds. Runners-up will pocket 14 million pounds, semi-finalists 12 million pounds and the quarter- finalists 11 million pounds.

Teams who make the last 16 will trouser 5.5million pounds, while group losers are in for 5 million pounds.

In addition, each of the 32 qualified teams will be granted 600,000 pounds equivalent to Twenty Five Million, Five Hundred Dalasis for preparation costs.

Finally, 24 million pounds will be provided by FIFA via the members associations to the clubs whose players will take part in the finals.
