Mariama Colley, a Gambian actress, has been nominated for an African Oscar award for her role in the movie “The Hand of Fate”.
She is an extraordinary young talented actress, a radio presenter, marketer and music promoter.
She will join hundreds of African actors and actresses of Africa at the award ceremony on 14 September 2013 in Washington DC, USA.
Meanwhile, “The Hand of Fate” film Director Ibrahim Ceesay has been nominated for Best Director and John Charles Njie, nominated for Best Actor, for the Nollywood and Africa People’s Choice Awards.
“The Hand of Fate” movie explores the theme of early marriage and its negative effects on the development of young girls.
It was premiered on February 1, 2013 by Manding Morry Entertainment.
