According to a press release from the association, Kote met officials from the German federation led by their president Dr Christian Baumgartner, the mayor of the city of
The Gambian weightlifting president also met Dr Achim Brotel, head of the district authority and county commissioner of Neckar-Odenwald-Kreis.
During his short visit, Mr Kote held fruitful discussions with the German counterparts culminating in the signing of an MoU which outlined areas of cooperation, support and exchange of expertise among other things.
“I am deeply satisfied with the conduct of the talks and the great support and encouragement from the German weightlifting federation, and I wish to register our profound delight and gratitude to them for the wonderful experience the visit provided me,’’ President Kote concluded.
