Hawks, Banjul United, Lamin United and Bombada United are all through to the round of sixteen of the 2013 Gambia Football Association GFA FA Cup competition after winning their preliminary ties on Monday and Tuesday respectively.
Hawks sailed to the round of sixteen following their penalty shootout win over record champions Wallidan, after the normal time of game failed to produce a winner at the Banjul Mini Stadium on Monday.
Banjul United booked their ticket to the round of sixteen after a post-match penalty shootout victory over Tallinding United, the game earlier ended blank at the Serrekunda East Mini Stadium.
Lamin United advanced to the round sixteen following their 4-3 penalty-kick win over Latrikunda United, after a 1-1 draw in regulation time at Brikama Mini Stadium on the same day.
Elsewhere, Bombada United progressed to the round of sixteen following their 5-4 penalty shootout victory over Serrekunda East, after 1-1 draw in normal time at the Brikama Mini Stadium on Tuesday.
