Speaking to reporters ahead of the competition at his Pros Shop at the Fajara Club on Wednesday, Drammeh said, “I’m really ready to defend this title, because every defending champion would want to defend a title he won.”
Declaring that he is ready for the event, the Gambian Tiger Woods as Drammeh is called, said one has to always have respect for your fellow professionals.
“We will go out there and do our best, and whoever comes out the winner we will accept it”, he added.
Yusupha Tamba, also a professional golfer preparing for the tournament, said the first edition was tough for him being paired with Fa Kebba Drammeh, whom he described as the best golfer in the country.
Tamba said he has been training hard to be at his best.“I want to beat the best players this time, to be at the top.”
