Defending
champions Gambia U-20 national team will face Mali in the group B fixture of
the 2019 WAFU Zone A football tournament today, in Guinea Conakry.
Coach
Matarr Mboge and his charges will spar to bang Mali to grip the significant
three points to increase their chances of reaching the semifinal as well
keeping their dreams of retaining their regional football tournament title.
The
young Scorpions defeated Liberia 2-1 in the final, played in Monrovia to clinch
the 2018 WAFU zone A football tournament title.
Meanwhile,
Liberia will play against Guinea Bissau in the other group B match on the same
day.
