The head coach of the Gambia U-20 team is impressed with his team’s Monday goalless draw with Brikama United, the 2010-2011 Gambia Football Association (GFA) division one league champions, in a warm-up game played at the Brikama Box Bar Mini Stadium.
“I am really impressed with the performance of the team despite Brikama United’s dominance of the game,” Coach Lamin Sarr said.
Coach Sarr also said he is optimistic that his team will come out with positive result in Rabat, Morocco, come Friday 27 July 2012 and finish the job in the return leg in a fortnight’s time in Banjul.
The test game with Brikama United was part of the Gambia U-20’s preparations for their first leg tie of the 2013 African U-20 qualifier away to Morocco U-20 on 27 July.
