Gambia U-20 beat Qatar U-23 in int’l friendly

Gambia national U-20 team, Saturday beat Qatar 1-0 in an international match, played in the Asian country.

The match was part of the young Scorpions preparation for the 2019 WAFU zone A football tournament to be hosted in Guinea Conakry later this month.

Gambia is in group B of the regional football tournament alongside Mali, Guinea Bissau and Liberia.
