The event will be staged from 8-10 May 2009, and 15 countries are expected to participate.
In an interview with Pointsport yesterday Matarr Jarjue, president of the Gambia Wrestling Association, said five wrestlers and some officials will represent the Gambia in the event.
It could be recalled that last year The Gambia participated in the Championship.
