Latest developments in the local government arena have seen the appointment of two chiefs over the weekend, reliable sources from official circles disclosed to this paper.
Modou Kenda Dibba, a 72-year-old native of Salikenni, now replaces Kabiro Kanteh, a native of Njaba Kunda. Mr Dibba's appointment is said to have appealed to a lot of people of the district, who see him as a good replacement on account of his experience in the chieftaincy institution.
