In a media release aired by state TV last night, the Government stated: “Gambia government would like to urge the public and all businesses to continue with their normal activities. May Allah The Almighty continue to strengthen our faith and restore his infinite blessings upon The Gambia and its peace-loving people.”
It would be recalled that President Yahya Jammeh left The Gambia on Saturday 27 December 2014 for a brief visit to Dubai, according to state TV. The president was expected back home last night.
