The proposed 12th October 2014 international friendly match between The Gambia and Morocco has been called off due to technical reasons, a media release issued by Gambia Football Federation, GFF, announced.
“Any inconvenience is deeply regretted,” the release added.
The same release also announced that GFF President Hon Lamin Kaba Bajo and his executive committee members have unanimously reconfirmed some members of the new Bureau of Gambian Football.
Alhagie Ousman B Conateh (Fisco) is now Honorary Life President of the Federation, while Alhagie Salifu K Jaiteh will serve as the Honorary Life Vice President.
“The Executive further has the pleasure to appoint Alhagie Sosseh Colley as an Ordinary Member of the GFF”, it further announced.
The GFF further informed the general public that Alhagie Omar Sey is appointed Adviser to the Executive, while Bakary K Jammeh and Major Musa Jammeh are also co-opted as Members of the Executive Committee of the GFF with immediate effect.
“These appointments have been confirmed by the GFF ExCO under the new President Hon Lamin Kaba Bajo at an Executive Committee Meeting held recently’, the release stated.
