Gambia host CAR in int’l friendly today

The Gambia senior national team is set to welcome Central Africa Republic in an international friendly match today, Monday 27 March 2017, in Rabat.

The Scorpions will be fighting to beat Central Africa Republic to get consoled after slipping to Morocco CHAN team 2-1 in the first international friendly played in Rabat on Thursday.

Coach Sang Ndong and his charges will be ambitious to improve on their weaknesses at the training ground for their second international friendly tie with Central Africa Republic to land positive result to make the Gambians happy after the zealous squad lost to Morocco CHAN team 2-1 in the first international friendly in Rabat.

The Gambia will begin their 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers campaign away to Benin in June 2017, in Porto-Novo, before hosting Algeria in their second match in March 2018 in Banjul.
