Fakebba Jambang, the plaintiff had sued Gacem Company before the Industrial Tribunal for wrongful termination of service, after 18 years of service.
The plaintiff, who was the chief security officer at Gacem Company, claimed the sum of D500, 000, as damages for wrongful dismissal.
The Chairman of the Industrial Tribunal, Magistrate Secka of the Kanifing Magistrates' Court, awarded D500 as cost to the plaintiff against the defendants for being absent from court sitting without any reason.
Subsequently, the case was adjourned to 26th August 2010 for continuation.
