Stars FC on Tuesday thrashed Uprising FC in the ongoing Serrekunda East
Nawettan game played at the Serrekunda East Mini Stadium.

FC put up a strong start to the game and could have opened the scores through
Sainey Gibba in the 7th minute of the game but his effort was saved by Future
Stars FC’s custodian Muhammed Cham.
Future
Stars FC, who were unable to establish themselves in the opening minute of the
game, opened the scores through Modou Njie in the 11th minute of the game
before completing his brace in the 58th minute of the game from a fine strike.
Substitute
Ali Faal netted the third goal for Future Stars FC in the 67th minute of the
game to dash Uprising FC’s hopes of coming back to their feet.
Uprising
FC responded for an equalizer and managed to pull back one through Lamin Kinteh
in the 71st minute of the game, which eventually proved to be a consolation
goal for them.
Elsewhere,
Medina FC beat Bradford FC 2-1 in the other encounter on the same day.

FC opened the tally through Pa Modou Sarr in the 5th minute of the game before
Omar Manneh leveled matters for Bradford FC in the 23rd minute of the game from
an excellent header to make it 1-1.

Jarjue snatched the winner for Medina FC in the 58th minute of the game to
secure their first win in the biggest football fray.
