The beneficiaries were the 2014 Super Nawetan champions Serrekunda East, Bakau, Sukuta and Serrekunda West.
Speaking at the presentation ceremony held at the FIBank head office on Kairaba Avenue, Sambujang Drammeh, an official of the bank, said FIBank has a cordial relationship with Gambia Football Federation.
He noted that the bank has sponsored the FA Cup and the Gambia’s 2018 World Cup qualifiers against Namibia.
Mr Drammeh said the Super Nawetan is popular as it attracts many spectators while appealing to the organising committee to put proper security mechanisms in place to avoid violence.
Godfrey Oyudo, a senior official of FIBank, said the bank is ready to work with the Gambia Football Federation for the advancement of Gambian football.
Ba S. Jabbi, chairman of the Super Nawetan organising committee, hailed FIBank for sponsoring the nawetan.
