A man accused of being in possession of suspected drug was yesterday arraigned at the Kanifing Magistrates’ Court.
Essa Jallow denied the charge and was granted court bail of D300,000 with two Gambian sureties, who must deposit ID cards.
The charge sheet read in court stated that the accused, Essa Jallow, on 16 February 2012, at the Banjul Ferry Terminal, had in his possession 80 grams of cannabis sativa, a suspected drug.
The case continues on 6 September 2012.
