Driver cautioned and discharged

A driver was recently cautioned and discharged by the Kanifing Magistrates' Court presided over by Magistrate Tabally.

Defendant Malick Jah pleaded guilty of the charge of rash and negligent act causing harm.

The charge sheet of the case stated that on 8 January 2011, at about 15:45 hours, at Jimpex, along Serekunda Banjul highway, the defendant, Malick Jah, drove a motor vehicle with registration number  BJL 6985F marked Ford Mondo, in a rash and negligent manner, thereby causing harm to one Alasan Jarju of Kerr Sering.
