Dramatic Change In The GFA League

As the national first division league kicks off its second round, some dramatic changes have been seen, with the former league leaders Samger FC suffering their 3rd defeat in the season. The academy boys were on Saturday beaten by Gamtel 1-0 at the Serrekunda West mini Stadium, to allow the 2007 GFA league champions Real de Banjul to move on top of the league table with goal differences, Wallidan opened their account in the second round by trashing the green boys of Armed Forces by 3-1 at the Sere Kunda West mini Stadium.

Bakau United beat GPA by 1-0 at the Serrekunda East mini stadium to avoid relegation. Meanwhile the results and table standings are as follows:
