Dodou Capi Joof for GNOC President

Oct 14, 2016, 9:55 AM

I wish to profusely thank the National Sporting Associations that nominated me and my team to lead the GNOC for the next quadrennial. It is important to note that the mandate of the NOC is to prepare associations and their athletics for Olympic Games. In addition it is to assist other non-Olympic sports develop their athletes to ensure that they are well equipped to compete at the highest level should their sport become an Olympic sports. We can all recall that Golf and Softball were not Olympic Sports in London 2012 Games however they are now included. My team will work with all associations to develop their administrative structures, build their capacity and most especially help develop their athletes.

I would like to take this unique opportunity to introduce to the sporting fraternity my team for the GNOC Board.
