The Police have pressed charges against the dismissed Daily Observer's production manager for stealing, this paper has learnt through reliable sources.

Mr. Baba Drammeh is being charged with stealing a motor vehicle.

It could be recalled that Mr Drammeh was on Wednesday 27th August 2008, called for questioning by the police over allegations that he had criminally sold the car, Mercedes Benz 190, registration number KM 8687A that had been officially allocated to him, hence he was dismissed from the company last Thursday.

He is said to have sold off the car at D24, 000 to one Morr Touray of Latri Kunda German in June this year, who has since converted the car into a taxi.

The car was reportedly intercepted on Wednesday while in the traffic around West Field in Serrekunda.

Mr. Drammeh is expected to be arraigned soon.
