Diamond FC have made a superb start to the 2012 Sukuta Nawettan campaign after thumping Brusubi Phase 2 FC 2-0 at the Sukuta Dembadou Mini Stadium at the weekend.
It was not an easy road to cross as both sides were threatening each other’s goal mouth. It was however Diamond Properties who were able to carry the day and emerged victorious after netting two astonishing goals to bag the maximum points at the expense of Diamond Properties.
Brusubi Phase 2 FC injected several fresh legs to boost their striking department and created few goal-scoring opportunities but they failed to capitalize on their limited opportunities and thus the game ended 2-0 in favour of Diamond Properties.
In a similar development, Manjai United have suffered yet another upset in the going QCell sponsored Manjai Nawettan following their 1-0 defeat to Selection FC at the Father Gough Sports Complex in Manjai Kunda at the weekend.
