The Gambian leader, President Yahya Jammeh, has relieved Ousman Jammeh of his appointment as deputy minister of Agriculture with effect from 15 October 2015, a statement from State House has revealed.
Jammeh, who just returned from a nationwide agriculture tour last week, was appointed in July 2015.
Similarly, one Ismaila Sanyang has now been appointed as minister of Agriculture, a position previously that of the president himself.
