The Bundung Magistrates' Court presided over by Magistrate Forster, on 19 January 2011, refused the prosecution's application to have the case of rash and negligent act causing death against one Isatou Camara withdrawn.
Inspector Touray told the court that the prosecution was applying to withdraw the case from court on the grounds that the deceased's parent had sworn to an affidavit dated 12 January 2011 to withdraw the matter from court.
However, Magistrate Forster overruled the prosecution’s application on the grounds that the prosecution had made a similar application on a similar offence, which was earlier refused.
He then adjourned the case until 1 February 2011.
