The Kanifing Magistrates' Court recently ordered the defendant, Naffie Kanu to make an instalment payment of D5000 until the whole sum is liquidated.
The plaintiff, Dodou Jallow is claiming from the defendant, Naffie Kanu for the recovery of the sum of D25, 000, being the balance of D40, 000 in respect of a car (Benz 190).
Magistrate Drammeh entered judgement in favour of the plaintiff in view of the defendant's admission of liability.
She ordered the defendant to make a payment of D5000 to the plaintiff before 30th April 2010, and a further payment of the same amount in each subsequent month.
According to him, if the defendant defaults in any month the whole sum would become due at once.
