The GSM operator Comium recently donated food and non-food items to the Centre for Children Home and Old People in Bakoteh in the Kanifing Municipality, as part of the company's drive towards improving living conditions of unfortunate persons and its customers.

The donated items included ten gallons of cooking oil, eight bags of rice, three bags of sugar, milk powder, and boxes of laundry soaps.

Speaking on the occasion, held at the Centre in Bakoteh, the Manager of the Centre, Awa Njie, applauded Comium for the gesture, saying the donation was "timely".

She added that the donated items would go a long away in complementing government's support to the centre.

"The donated items will be put into good use and I am hopeful that the relationship between Comium and the Centre will move from strength to strength," she said.

For his part, the Business Development Manager at Comium, Nyan Njie, said Comium would continue to render more support to the centre.

Mr Njie commended their customers for being loyal to the company thus made it possible for them to donate to the centre.
