Brikama Youth and Sports Committee will stage a 2-day conference that runs from 28 to 29 May 2011 at the Brikama regional office, Pointsport reliably gathered yesterday afternoon.
The conference, according to officials from the Committee, will attract the youthful population from every corner of the country.
It is aimed at creating a vibrant and productive youth force for the socio-economic development of Brikama and beyond.
According to the press release sent to Pointsport and signed by Alhagie S. Darboe, secretary general of Brikama Youth and Sports Committee, the ultimate aim of the conference is to foster unity, peace and understanding among the youth for the development of the youth and sport.
It is also aimed at promoting and encouraging the development of the youth and sport as well as ensuring that competitions are organised in other major sporting disciplines.
