Lion Heart Handball Club continue to maintain their spectacular run of form in the Gambia Handball Association National league currently underway at the Gambia Handball Courts in Bakau.
They laid a hard fought encounter and eventually emerged victors by 23 points to 21 at the expense of Old Hands Handball Club at the Independence Stadium Handball Courts at the weekend.
The mouth-watering clash showed both sides put up respectable performances during the game but it was Lion Heart who carried the day by snatching a vital win to keep their title hope alive.
The two sides went into Friday's encounter on the back of impressive run of fine form having remained unbeaten in as many handball league matches as played.
