Brikama Youth and Sports Committee (BYSC) gave prizes and certificates to players and sports personnel for their relentless contribution towards the success of the 2011-2012 Nawettan Season.
Lamin Sawo of Soccer FC was crowned the best midfielder and best player of the season. He received a trophy, a certificate and a cash prize of D1, 000.
Sheikh Omar Sawo of Soccer FC, who emerged the best defender of the season, received a trophy, a certificate and a cash prize of D1, 000.
The leading goal scorer award went to Modou Lamin Touray of Jokor FC. He walked away with a trophy, a certificate and a cash prize of D1, 000.
Mamudou S. Bojang, who was given the award of the best goalkeeper, collected a trophy, a certificate and a cash prize of D1, 000.
Soccer FC’s Sulayman Kuyateh was awarded the best coach of the season. He was decorated with a trophy, a certificate and a cash prize of D1, 000.
Other awards went to Daru African Light FC for being the most disciplined team of the Nawettan season. The club therefore received a certificate, a trophy and a cash prize of D5, 000.
Ansumana Kinteh, the best referee of the season, received a trophy, a certificate and a cash prize of D1, 000.
