Brikama Utd aspire to sink Steve Biko to close gap on GPA in GFF 1st Division

Brikama United are aspiring to beat Steve Biko in their week-fifteen fixtures today, Friday 1 April 2016, at the Brikama Box Bar Mini Stadium to close gap on Gambia Ports Authority to one point in the 2015-2016 Gambia Football Federation domestic division one league.

The Brikama-based outfit are four points behind league leaders Gambia Ports Authority and will be aggressive for revenge against Steve Biko to close gap on league leaders Gambia Ports Authority to just one point after losing to Bakau giants 1-0 in the first round to keep league title hopes alive.

The Bakau giant killers are also among the teams competing for the league title, and will be expecting to beat Brikama United in order to maintain their aspirations alive after losing to Bombada 1-0 in their week-fourteen fixtures.

Gambia Armed Forces will brawl with relegation threatened Serrekunda United at the Serrekunda East Mini Stadium.

The Soldiers are among the teams fighting for the league title, and hope to defeat Serrekunda United to fancy their league title ambitions alive.

The Serrekunda-based outfit are occupying bottom in the top flight and will bout to beat Gambia Armed Forces to move away from the danger zone.

Elsewhere, Gambia Ports Authority will play against Real De Banjul in the all-Banjul derby game at the Banjul KG5 Mini Stadium on the same day.

The ferry boys are currently topping the league and will be brawling to beat Real De Banjul in order to bounce back after losing 1-0 in their week-fourteen fixtures to preserve their chances of winning the league title.

Real De Banjul are among the teams contesting for the league title and will target to punch Gambia Ports Authority to boost their league title hopes.

On Saturday 2 April 2016, Bombada will entertain Banjul United at the Brikama Box Bar Mini Stadium.

The Brikama-based outfit are one place above relegation zone in the top flight and will be stunning to beat Banjul United to improve their position in the league.

The Banjul-based outfit are currently struggling second place from bottom in the top flight and will fight to defeat Bombada to move away from the relegation zone.

Wallidan will clash with Hawks in the all-Banjul derby fixtures at the Banjul KG5 Mini Stadium.

The blue boys are two places above relegation zone in the top flight and will be attempting for revenge against Hawks after losing to the red devils 1-0 in the first round in order to bring their league title hopes back on track.

The red devils are among the teams contending for the league title and will scuffle to knock Wallidan and stand in contention for the league title after several years of trophy drought.

Elsewhere, defending league champions Gamtel will take on Samger at the Serrekunda East Mini Stadium on the same day.

The telecommunication giants will be striking to beat Samger in order to boost their hopes of retaining their 2014-2015 division one league crown.

The academy boys are three places above relegation zone in the top flight and will play strong to edge-pass Gamtel to improve their position in the league.
