Black and White of Berending village head coach Lamin Jatta wishes Jambanjelly United good luck in the upcoming Gambia Football Federation (GFF) third triangular division qualifiers.
Jambanjelly United have secured a place in the 2014 GFF third triangular qualifiers following their 1-0 win over Black and White of Berending in the all-Kombo South derby in the West Coast Region third Division qualifiers final game played at the Brikama Box Bar Mini Stadium on Friday.
Jatta said his team dominated the game and created numerous goal-scoring chances but failed to capitalize on the chances, adding that Jambanjelly United were able to capitalize on their only chance in the game and scored, which eventually earned them a place in the GFF third triangular qualifiers.
Jatta advised Jambanjelly coaching staff to strengthen their team before the start of the triangular qualifiers, adding that their performance against Black and White was unimpressive
Alagie Camara, a member of Jambanjelly United coaching staff, said he was really glad to see his side progress to the triangular qualifiers, adding that the performance of his team was “not impressive”, noting that they would go back to the training ground to improve on their weaknesses ahead of the GFF third division triangular qualifiers.
Striker Saikouba Ceesay and left-back Nfansu Jammeh both expressed optimism that Jambanjelly United would gain promotion to the second division at the end of the GFF third triangular qualifiers despite their poor performance against Black and White in the West Coast Region third division qualifiers final.
