The official opening of the rehabilitated Banjul Mini-Stadium (KG5) is billed for Saturday, 26 February 2011, Pointsport can reveal.
The Mini-Stadium (KG5) has undergone rehabilitation work with BOA Construction under GAMWORKS for the third Public Works Project at a tune of D9.6 Million.
The Banjul Mini-Stadium, according to its management, is currently the most standard and quality football ground in the country equipped with the latest artificial turf playing surface.
As part of the programme of activities for the opening, there will be football matches between Banjul Central against Banjul North on Saturday at 3.00pm.
This will be followed by the official opening of the stadium to be presided over by Alhaji O.B. Conateh.

The Banjul South and Tobacco Road game will end Saturday activities. Two winners and losers will face each other in the final to be played on Sunday.
