Matches in the ongoing Late Pa Modou Sarr Memorial Basketball Tournament resume today at the Serrekunda West Basketball Lawn after two weeks of fascinated Basketball encounters.
Lamin Basketball team will entertain Sports House later in the day at the Serrekunda West Basketball Lawn while Kanifing, who lost their opening game with 43 points to 33 points defeat to Serrekunda East, are set for a clash with Manjai Boys who also lost in their opener last week.
The other poor performers in the campaign, Porcupine Basketball team of Bakau, will meet YMCA in the other game of the competition on Saturday while Wallidan will resume their quest for the title hunt with a crucial game against Kanifing.
Kanifing must beat Wallidan to stand any chance of progression having lost to Serrekunda East in their opener.
But a win for Wallidan who got off to a flying start to the campaign with a resounding win over Manjai Boys last Saturday will definitely see them maintain their superb unbeaten run to three consecutive matches.
The two sides will meet on Saturday.
