Banjul derby in GFF 1st Division tomorrow

Real De Banjul will rub shoulders with Hawks in the all-Banjul derby clash in the week-twenty fixtures of the 2013-2014 Gambia Football Federation (GFF) division one league tomorrow, 21 June 2014, at the Serrekunda East Mini Stadium.

Real de Banjul are currently in the league summit with only two points and will be fighting tooth and nail for a win against struggling Hawks to rejuvenate their lead as well as keeping their hopes of clinching the league title after two years of trophy drought.

Hawks are currently languishing two places above relegation zone and will be placing for a victory against Real De Banjul to avoid relegation and move to the second tier.

Wallidan will play against Steve Biko at the Banjul KG5 Mini Stadium.

Wallidan are among the title contenders and will be vying for a win against league champions Steve Biko to keep their title hope alive.

Steve Biko are currently rooted at the bottom of the league table and will be coming all out for a win against Wallidan to keep their chances of staying in the top flight next season following their dismal performance in the league.

Elsewhere, Brikama United will host Police outfit Interior at the Brikama Box Bar Mini Stadium.

Brikama United are among title contenders and will be fighting for a win against Interior to fancy their hopes of winning the league title.

Interior are mid-table and will be trying to revenge against Brikama United following their 2-1 defeat to the West Coast Region outfit in the first round to improve their position on the league table.

On Sunday 22 June 2014, Gamtel will take on Samger at the Brikama Box Bar Mini Stadium.

Gamtel are second place on the league table and will be looking out for a victory against embattled Samger to mount pressure on league leaders Real De Banjul and also keep their title ambitions alive.

Samger are struggling second place from bottom and will be fighting tooth and nail for a win against Gamtel to avoid relegation and move to the second division.

Armed Forces will battle it out with Banjul United at the Serrekunda East Mini Stadium.

Armed Forces are mid-table and will be hoping to recover following their 1-0 defeat to Interior in the all-Security derby clash at the weekend.

Banjul United are also mid-table and will be expecting to snatch a win against Armed Forces to secure good position on the league table.

Elsewhere, Gambia Ports Authority will clash with Bakau United at the Banjul KG5 Mini Stadium.

Gambia Ports Authority are among title contenders and will be hoping for a win against Bakau United to keep their title hopes alive.

Bakau United are mid-table and will be putting in all their might to win and bounce back following their 3-1 defeat to current league leaders Real De Banjul at the weekend.
