Wallidan
are set to clash with Banjul United in the all-Banjul derby fixture of the
2016-2017 Gambia Football Federation second division league today (27 April) at
the Banjul KG5 Mini Stadium.
The
blue boys are fifth in the second tier with 33 points from 21 league matches
and are striving to beat Banjul United to push past BK Milan.
The
Banjul-based outfit, are currently topping the second tier with 43 points from
21 league matches and will fight for revenge after losing to Wallidan 3-2 in
the first round.
The
‘Lions of Banjul’ will rub-shoulders with B.K.Milan at the Independence Stadium
in Bakau; Lions of Banjul are third-place in the second tier with 39 points
from league matches, and hunt to defeat BK Milan to grip the vital three
points.
BK
Milan are fourth-place in the second division with 36 points 21 league matches,
and are aiming to beat the ‘Lions of Banjul’ to close the gap in the league.
