The case continued with the cross-examination of one Abdourahman Bah, who told the court he was present when the alleged offence took place.
The witness added that there was no time when the accused person assaulted the complainant with a stick, and he was not also aware of the accused jumping the fence of the complainant to enter into the premises of the complainant to assault her there.
He further stated that he was present at the scene of the crime and witnessed everything, but did not see the accused assaulting the complainant.
He was not aware of the assault that was alleged to have been carried on the complainant, he said, adding that all what he had said was the true fact of the case, because he was present.
When he was shown a document bearing his name, the witness told the court although the document bears his name he did not sign it, as the signature on the document was not his.
The writing on the said document was not his writing, and therefore, he was not the author of that document, he said.
The case continues.
