Angola
will host Gambia in the first-leg of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers
today, in Luanda at 7pm.
The
Angolans, who defeated Gambia 3-1 on aggregate in the 2022 World Cup
preliminary qualifiers in September,
will contend to maintain their winning run against the Scorpions to grab the
maximum points in the continent’s biggest bi-annual football fiesta qualifiers.
The
Scorpions will compete for vengeance to snatch the vital three points after
losing to the Angolans 3-1 on aggregate in the 2022 World Cup preliminary
qualifiers played in September.
Meanwhile,
Gambia will welcome Democratic Republic of Congo in their second match on
Monday, at the Independence Stadium in Bakau at 4pm.
