The
Super Nawettan Organising Committee (SNOC) has banned Brikama from playing
their super Nawettan matches at home soil for one year.
The
Sateyba boys were suspended from playing their games at the Box Bar Mini
Stadium for one year after their fans threw stones, water bottles and objects
on match officials when their side equalizing goal was rejected by the
assistant referee as off-side in the dying minute of the match against Kombo
East, last Friday.
Brikama
were also fined D30, 000 for their misconduct during their game with the Kombo
East boys, who were leading by one goal to nil before Sateyba fans stopped the
match.
The
Super Nawettan Organising Committee (SNOC) urged Brikama to settle their fined
before their final group B match with Serrekunda Central. Failure to settle
their fined; they will be expel from this year’s super nawettan.
The
Sateyba boys were also banned from playing their super nawettan matches at home
in 2015 after their fans threw stones, water bottles and objects on match
officials following their 1-0 defeat to Banjul at the Box Bar Mini Stadium.
