A man called Modou Camara, a resident of Sinchu village in the West Coast Region, was recently arraigned at the Special Criminal Court in Banjul, charged with rape.
According to the particulars of offence, on 22 September 2012 at Sinchu village in the West Coast Region, the accused person, Modou Camara, unlawfully had carnal knowledge of a four-year-old girl.
The accused person has denied the charges preferred against him by the state.
The case continues.
