One Muhammed Njie was recently arraigned before
Magistrate Mbye of the Kanifing Magistrates’ Court, charged with stealing from
a dwelling house.
He denied the charge and was granted court bail of D20,000 with a Gambian surety, who must deposit an ID card.
The case was adjourned to 21 September 2015.
The charge sheet read in court stated that the accused, Muhammed Njie, on 1 September 2015 at Bakoteh in the Kanifing Municipality, stole from the house of one Babucarr Busso a mobile phone, marked Samsung Galaxy S4 valued at D16,000, the property of the said Babucarr Busso.
