Magistrate Kijera of the Kanifing Magistrates’
Court recently sentenced one Essa Touray to a suspended sentence of three years
following his own plea of guilty, for attempting to commit a felony.
The charge sheet presented before the court stated that the accused, Essa Touray, on 6 September 2015 at the Independence Stadium in Bakau in the Kanifing Municipality, attempted to commit a felony by trying to open one Dembo Saho’s vehicle with another car key.
