Alleged cattle rustler arraigned

A man accused of stealing four goats was yesterday arraigned at the Bundung Magistrates’ Court before Magistrate Mbye.

Masireh Ceesay denied the charge, and was subsequently granted court bail of D150 with a Gambian surety with a reachable address.

The particulars of offence stated that on 25 August 2011, at Tallinding in the Kanifing Municipality, the accused, Masireh Ceesay, stole four goats  valued at D8,500, being the property of one Baba Ceesay.
