Court heard case of attempted felony

Magistrate Jallow of the Kanifing Magistrates’ Court recently presided over the case of an attempt to commit a felony involving one Alagie Badjie.

Alagie Badjie denied the charge, and was granted court bail of D5,000 with a Gambian surety who must deposit an ID card.

According to the charge sheet, on 30th August 2011 at Kololi village in the Kanifing Municipality, at Metro Security Company in Kololi, the accused person, Alagie Badjie, allegedly attempted to commit a felony, to wit stealing and thereby committed an offence.

Hearing continues on 21st September 2011.
