A man was recently arraigned before Magistrate Jallow of the Kanifing Magistrates’ Court for stealing.
Dawda Jawara pleaded not guilty of the charge and was granted court bail of D25,000 with a Gambian surety who must deposit an ID card.
According to the charge sheet, on 3 May 2011, at Bakau Altantic, in the Kanifing Municipality, the accused, Dawda Jawara, stole from the house of one Bakary Darboe cash amount of D7,500, being the property of the said Bakary Darboe.
The case continues on 21 June 2011.
