One
Morry Yassin Ndow was recently arraigned before Magistrate Gomez of the
Kanifing Magistrates’ Court, charged with assault causing actual bodily harm.
The charge sheet read that on 20 March 2015 at Podium Bar and Restaurant in Bakau Sanchaba in the Kanifing Municpality, he assaulted one Alhagie Njie by stabbing him with a knife on the left side of the ear and on the forehead, causing him injuries.
He denied the charge and was granted court bail of D50,000 with a Gambian surety who must swear to an affidavit of means.
The
case was adjourned to 27 May 2015.
