FC of Giboroh kuta have maintained their hundred percent record in the 2015
Kombo East District football tournament, following their 1-0 victory overTalokoto in a well-contested gameplayed at the Pirang football field on
Sunday.
The game was not an easy road to cross as both sides played offensive and defensive football, but the Giboroh Kuta outfit were the lucky side to bag the vital three points courtesy of striker Lamin Sawo Jatta’s 90th minute strike, to give the Academy boys their third straight win in the Kombo East district’s biggest fiesta with a maximum 9 points in three outings.
Talokoto now need to win their remaining games in order to keep their dreams of reaching the next round of the football tournament, following their 1-0 defeat to Ajax FC in their weekend clash.
The tournament was organized by the Kombo East Sports Committee to promote, groom, nurture and develop young talents in the district.
