21 players invited for Burkina Faso clash

The Gambia Football Association (GFA) yesterday released the list of 21 players that are currently in camp in Belgium, as the Scorpions prepare ahead of what promises to produce a mouth-watering African Nations Cup qualifying match away to Burkina Faso, in Ougaduogou, on Saturday at 6.00 PM.

The Scorpions who will enter the Burkina Faso clash on the back of an impressive 3-1 win over Namibia a month ago, will be enjoying the services of all the big guns including Champions League debutant Momodou Ceesay, who scored in Scorpions 3-1 win in Banjul.

The list also includes two home based players in goalkeepers Musa Camara and Christopher Allen who traveled to Belgium to catch up with the rest of their teammates ahead of the weekend's tie.

The Scorpions who got-off to a convincing start to the qualifying campaign as they continue to hunt  for their first ever qualification berth in the African Nations Cup finals in Gabon\ Equatorial Guinea face a huge task in their effort to secure maximum points against a side that continue to establish itself as one of the leading teams in the continental football.

The list of the invited players for the Burkina Faso tie are: Pa Saikou Kujabi, Ebrima Sohna, Abdou Jammeh, Mustapha Toubabou Jarju, Aziz Corr Nyang, Njogu Demba Nyren, Ousman Jallow, Abdoulie Mansally, Dawda Bah, Momodou Ceesay, Muhammed Mbye, Captain Pa Demba Touray, Kebba Ceesay, Sainey and Sanna Nyassi, Mamadou Danso, Omar Jawo, Musa Camara, Christopher Allen, Tijan Jaiteh and Pa Modou Jagne, who watched Scorpions previous matches on the sideline due to an injury.
