It is amazing to note that God does not require believers to perform extraordinary deeds in order to qualify to be with Him in heaven - to enjoy everlasting life: the God kind of life. The simple ingredient or entry ticket is your faith. "And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to Him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly/diligently seek Him." (Hebs. 11:6)
Some people have the wrong notion that they can enter heaven by merit or worse still by purchasing it with their wealth. If that were the case only those who can afford the price would enter, excluding all others.
God makes no distinction about who is entitled to make it to heaven. Everyone can qualify on the basis of your faith.
Apostle Paul further clarifies this: "If you confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." (Rom. 10:9) Jesus Himself stated: "I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and believes Him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life." (Jn. 5:24)
Salvation is a matter of taking a step of faith. No one can do that on your behalf. If you think that was not enough, listen to this. "I have come into the world as a light, that no one who believes in me should stay in darkness." (Jn.12:46)
That salvation is free of charge does not mean it is cheap. You will have to desire it. "...by believing you have life in His name." (Jn. 10:31)
Exercise your faith today, tomorrow might be too late.
