AFRAID OF OUR FEARS.

Jul 9, 2025, 12:44 PM

It is recorded that there are 365 entries of "Do not be afraid!" in the Bible. Justifiably, one for each day. If that is the case, then God has ample reason why nothing should frighten us.

Our most nagging fears are two-fold : fear of the unknown, closely followed by the fear of death.

Indeed, the world we live in is evil and outside of God's protection we are exposed to Satan's 'fear mongering'. He capitalises on our fears because he knows to what extent we are ignorant of the provisions God has made in His Word - The Bible, to allay our fears.

Henceforth, stand your ground on God's insurance. "So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed,  for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." (Isaiah 41:10)

So when next the devil comes knocking at your door, tell him boldly to his face: "The Lord is my light and my salvation -- whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life - of whom shall I be afraid?" (Ps. 27:1) and he will depart the way he came.

Give it a try, it works! Hallelujah!
